Royal Canin Veterinary Dog - Urinary S/O Small Dog is a complete food designed for small breed adult dogs with urinary stones. The dietetic recipe combats unwanted crystals, with moderate protein and reduced magnesium to acidify urine, reducing the risk of new stones. It also aids in eliminating existing stones and crystals. Additionally, it contains active ingredients for tartar prophylaxis, binding calcium in saliva.

Indications:

• Struvite stones: helps remove and prevent reoccurrence
• Calcium oxalate stones: helps prevent reoccurrence
• Bacterial cystitis: deals with secondary stones from struvite crystalluria (combined with appropriate antibiotic treatment)

Contraindications:

• Chronic kidney disease
• Heart disease (if aiming for sodium restriction)
• Combined with urine-acidifying medicine
• Growing, pregnant, or lactating dogs
