It has been specially developed to support the musculoskeletal system - so it is also ideal for larger, more active dogs as well as senior dogs. It is made with dried mussel meat (30% New Zealand Perna canaliculus) which is a natural source of chondroitin and glucosamine. These are important building blocks for cartilage, synovial fluid, ligaments and intervertebral discs. Mussel meat and top-quality evening primrose oil provide plenty of valuable omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and vitamin C (from the acerola cherry) can help support collagen formation in dogs, which is important for healthy cartilage.
