Many cats with diabetes often suffer from loss of appetite; however, a consistent diet with regulated glucose supply is vital for successful management. Royal Canin Veterinary Cat - Diabetic DS 46 is a complete food designed to regulate glucose supply and encourage eating. With low starch content for stable blood sugar, it prevents spikes, and high protein maintains muscle mass in overweight cats. Indications:

Diabetes mellitus

Note: Insulin sensitivity may improve, and blood sugar levels should be monitored. Contraindications:

Pregnancy or lactation, kittens

Changing your pet's diet and length of treatment: It's advisable to keep your cat on this diet for life. While diabetes mellitus can't be cured, stabilizing it is possible with insulin therapy, dietary management, and exercise. Therapeutic veterinary diets are recommended in consultation with your vet.
